Jo Whitworth

Principal

Jo joined Dixons in 2020 after spending fourteen years teaching in London. She became a Senior Vice Principal for the trust in 2022 taking on a range of roles at both Dixons Brooklands Academy and Dixons Croxteth Academy. Jo was appointed as Principal of Dixons Newall Green Academy in September 2024 and is excited to lead the school through the next stage of its journey.

Jo is passionate about delivering excellent results for every single student and believes Dixons’ aspirational mission mirrors her own beliefs that children have a right to a first-class educational experience.

Jo feels extremely lucky to be part of such a brilliant school community and is inspired every day by the incredible students it serves.
