Sarah Linton
Trust Assistant Principal- Safeguarding
After studying for a BA Hons Degree in Business Studies at the University of Salford and completing her PGCE teaching certificate at Edge Hill University, Sarah began her teaching career in Blackburn, teaching sixth form students Business Studies . She has had various experiences in teaching, pastoral and Safeguarding roles in Wigan, Salford, Liverpool and now Manchester. She enjoyed ensuring all students reached their full potential in a Safe and Healthy environment.
In 2022, she became a Trust Assistant Principal for Safeguarding in the Northwest with Dixons Academies Trust. She has worked with a variety of Dixons Academies which include, Dixons Croxteth Academy, Dixons Fazakerley Academy, Dixons Broadgreen Academy, Dixons Brooklands academy and Dixons Newall Green Academy, supporting staff and students in the area of Safeguarding, Well-being and Mental Health.
Sarah is passionate about education and Safeguarding children, ensuring that all students thrive in a Safe and supportive environment. In her role as Trust Assistant Principal for Safeguarding in the Northwest and Interim Designated Safeguarding lead at Dixons Newall Green, she is committed to supporting every child to be feel Safe secure which will enable the students to go to a university or real life alternative, thrive in a top job and to live a great life.
