Rosie Vessey

Assistant Principal

Rosie began her teaching career in Grimsby where she spent three years before temporarily stepping outside of the classroom to train teachers with the Teach First programme as a Leadership Development Officer. Whilst working with participants in schools across West Yorkshire, Rosie completed her Masters in Education, focusing on leadership in schools. In 2016 she returned to teaching as a Lead Practitioner for Humanities in Oldham, Manchester, where she became an established Middle Leader responsible for Progress across KS3 across the school.

In 2019, Rosie joined the Senior Leadership Team Dixons Trinity Academy and has worked in the Personal Development and Quality of Education teams. In 2024, Rosie joined Dixons Newall Green Academy, as Assistant Principal for Student Experience and Personal Development. Rosie is passionate about supporting the young people of Wythenshawe to gain a wide range of experiences to help them climb their mountain, succeed at university, or real alternative and live a fulfilling life.
